Sandia National Laboratories
Paul is a chemical hydrologist and groundwater reactive transport modeler with Sandia National Laboratories. His specialty is predicting the chemical behavior, transport, and fate of organic and inorganic constituents in geologic systems. Paul has authored numerous technical reports and papers on geochemical modeling, site characterization, performance assessment, and groundwater remediation. In recent years, his focus has been on performance assessment of deep geologic repository concepts for nuclear waste. Paul has degrees in Environmental Science and Hydrology from the University of Virginia and the University of Arizona and currently serves as a vice chair of the Nuclear Energy Agency’s Crystalline Club.
