Biography

Jared Harper is a mechanical systems engineer at TerraPower LLC of Bellevue, WA working on the Molten Chloride Fast Reactor (MCFR) technology. He is the Fuel Group lead for the Molten Chloride Reactor (MCRE) project, a molten salt reactor to be sited at Idaho National Laboratory in the late 2020's. He oversees the fuel handling, cover gas, and fuel salt systems for the project. He previously worked as an engineer at the Hanford Waste Treatment Plant and before that as an engineer upon oil & gas projects for large oil & gas clients.
