Biography

Evans Kitcher completed his PHD at Texas A&M University in 2016, and was hired there as a post doc and subsequently as an Assistant Research engineer. In 2019 Dr. Kitcher moved to Idaho National Laboratory as a Spent Fuel Analyst in then recently establish Used Fuel Management Department. Currently Dr. Kitcher's projects are focused on management of various types of spent nuclear fuel (SNF) including aluminum clad SNF, advanced reactor SNF and microreactor SNF, focusing on packaging, transportation and storage of SNF awaiting final disposition.
