Biography

Tom King is the Project Manager for the Innovation & Delivery Project in the Strategic Waste Programme for Radioactive Waste Management Ltd in the UK. He has significant operational and strategic planning experience, most notably at Oldbury Nuclear Power Station, Gloucestershire, UK. Whilst at Oldbury, Tom led the retrieval of Intermediate Level Waste IonSiv Cartridges & Filters from the legacy ponds. These were then loaded into Ductile Cast Iron Containers and transported to Berkeley Nuclear Power Station Interim Storage Facility. Tom has expertise in characterisation, waste treatment, transport, integrated waste management, container development, BAT/BPM & Waste Hierarchy application.
