Biography

Dr Virginie Wasselin has 20 years of service in the field of waste management safety and strategy, including 10 years at manager level. Indeed, since 2007, she has been nominated to participate to the French working group on the National Management Plan for Radioactive Materials and Waste (PNGMDR). After 17 years in the institute of radioprotection and nuclear safety as head of the radioactive waste and sites unit, she joined the french waste management organisation ANDRA as head of the waste management strategy department. She is also involved in european projet like EURAD.
