Biography

I am physicist with PhD in nuclear application techniques with more than 25 year of experience in radioactive waste management and decommissioning. I am a member of the National Committee for Radioactive Waste Management, represent the country as delegate of the research entity NCSRD in EURAD and I am an official counterpart of Greece since 2011 in technical cooperation projects of IAEA in the field of decommissioning. I have performed more than 35 technical studies and prepared the relevant technical reports. I have authored 20 publications in peer-reviewed journals and 40 publications in conference proceedings. I am head of Radioactive Waste and Materials Lab since 2013.
