Biography
Mr. Byoungkwan Kim is studying the alkali or acid-activated geopolymer waste forms to immobilize radioactive borate waste, ion exchange resins, and acidic liquid wastes. He is also interested in the development of geopolymer adsorbent to stabilize the radioactive oxyanions and investigation of the retention mechanism of radionuclides in hydrated waste form systems.
