Biography

Dr. Yannick Verbelen holds a MSc in Electrical Engineering and obtained his PhD in Renewable Energy at Brussels University (VUB) in 2018. He is an expert in the design, prototyping, and implementation of low-power electronic circuits and embedded systems. Dr. Verbelen is currently with the Interface Analysis Centre at Bristol University, UK, developing robotic systems and radiation sensors for nuclear decommissioning applications. He is also a STEM Ambassador in the UK.
