Dr. Ravi Gudavalli is an environmental Scientist at the Florida International University’s Applied Research Center. He has a masters and Ph.D. degrees in environmental engineering from Florida International University. He is currently the lead and manages on projects supporting the U.S. DOE-EM and DOE-LM, assisting the environmental cleanup activities. His research interests include remediation of organic, heavy metals, and radionuclides; hazardous waste management; and physiochemical processes affecting the fate and transport of environmental contaminants (organic and inorganic) through aqueous/solid media. Dr. Gudavalli is also the manager of the DOE-FIU Science and Technology Workforce Development Program.
