Biography

Dr. Hazenberg studied at Wageningen University in the Netherlands where he received both B.S. degree, a M.S. degree and PhD degree in Hydrology. The last 10 years of his professional carreer have focused on the theme of hydrology and hydrometeorology with over 20 publications on lateral surface and subsurface flow, and land-atmosphere processes. He worked as a Postdoc and Assistant Professor at the University of Arizona, and was a senior researcher at Deltares, The Netherlands. Recently, he joined the ARC at FIU where leads the team that focus on joint hydrological and heavy metal transport modeling.
