Biography

Júlio Takehiro Marumo works for Energy and Nuclear Research Institute (IPEN – CNEN/SP) and has been manager of Radioactive Waste Management Department since 2006. Based in Sao Paulo, he has 31 years of experience in the nuclear area. Member of Labonet Steering Committee (IAEA) since 2016. He has MS and PhD degrees from University of Sao Paulo. He has been working the last eight years on development of new treatment techniques and characterization of radioactive waste.
