Biography

Aris Duani Rojas is a PhD student in Computer Science from Florida International University and DOE Fellow at the Applied Research Center. His research interests lie in deep learning, computer vision, and natural language processing. His work focuses on using deep learning to address environmental protection tasks like detection and identification of low-level nuclear waste, monitoring rainwater seepage, solving ERT inversion problems, and making artificial intelligence algorithms more accessible to subject matter experts.
