Biography

Sarah Kazemeini is a first-year medical student at the Kirk Kerkorian School of Medicine at UNLV. Prior to matriculating as a MD student, she attended UNLV for her undergraduate studies, where she graduated Summa Cum Laude with a B.S. in Biochemistry. Sarah ultimately plans to intertwine her passions of chemistry and medicine by exploring adsorption methods for medical relevant radioisotopes such as technetium-99. She hopes to continue utilizing her background to enhance the current understanding of new, cost-efficient sequestration methods associated with technetium.
