Biography

Gordon Petersen works at Idaho National Laboratory. His primary interests are spent fuel management and examining long term options for storage, transportation, and disposal of advanced reactor and DOE-managed spent nuclear fuel. He received his PhD from the University of Tennessee in 2016 where he researched algorithms and methods for optimizing the spent nuclear fuel allocation strategy for commercial reactors.
