Biography

Dr. Ivan Maldonado is a Professor of Nuclear Engineering at the University of Tennessee. He has been affiliated with the US nuclear industry for about 30 years. His expertise is directly related to modeling and simulation of current and next-generation nuclear reactors, including at least 2 decades of experience in nuclear fuel management optimization. He has led a multitude of research and instructional projects with students at UT and with colleagues at ORNL and at universities, nationally and internationally.
