Biography

Beatrice is a dedicated PhD candidate in Engineering and Computational Sciences at Tennessee State University, with a concentration in Civil Engineering. Her research focuses on improving the performance and environmental sustainability of construction and demolition waste through stabilization using biopolymers. She holds a Master’s degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Tokyo, Japan, and a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from Saint Augustine University of Tanzania. Before her PhD, Beatrice spent two years at Hazama Ando Construction Company in Japan, working on diverse projects. Her goal is to innovate sustainable construction and waste management solutions to address global environmental challenges.
