Biography

Rick has over 23 years of experience in the environmental and water resources sectors in the Southwest, with a background in groundwater quality, environmental investigations and remediation, watershed and erosion studies, and water resource planning and policy. Rick is currently the Director of the Resource Protection Division for the New Mexico Environment Department, and holds a B.S. degree in Anthropology and Geology, a Master’s in Business Administration, and a Master’s in Water Resources, all from the University of New Mexico. He enjoys tinkering in his workshop and spending time with his mixed family of 2-legged and 4-legged members.
