Biography

Richard has nearly 20 years experience working in the nuclear sector, including 12 years in Decommissioning. He leads nuclear market development for Jacobs' Cyber Security and Digital team in the UK, having previously held roles in Nuclear Innovation Development and as Jacobs' Sellafield Account Director. Regeneration has been of consistent interest throughout these roles, especially how innovative and intentional approaches to decommissioning might enable increased pace and socio economic benefits. This led to him collaborating with the NDA and Quintessa to co-author a paper on the role of Regeneration in End-state decision making. Richard has a PhD in Materials Science, and started his career in industrial manufacturing.
