Biography

Rick Minichan is the Manager of the Instrumentation, Robotics and Imaging Systems group in Advanced Engineering Engineering at the Savannah River National Lab. He has over 30 years experience leading the development of specialized equipment for use in nuclear facilities at Savannah River Site and external customers such as the Department of Homeland Security. He holds two US patents for devices used in remote equipment, is a Registered Professional Engineer and a member of ASME. He served on the ANS Robotics and Remote Systems Division (RRSD) Executive Committee for five years including terms as Treasurer and Secretary.
