Biography

Dr. Nadezhda Gotcheva is a Research Team Leader, Safety in complex sociotechnical systems in VTT Finland. She is an organizational psychologist with research interests at the intersection of culture, management, leadership and governance for safety, foresight and ethics in organizations and inter-organizational project networks. Dr. Gotcheva has been leading safety culture assessment and development projects in the nuclear industry in Finland and internationally. She is a permanent designated member from Finland of the OECD NEA Working Group on Human and Organizational Factors (WGHOF) and co-editor of Human Factors in the Nuclear Industry: A Systemic Approach to Safety (2020).
