Kosuke Ono is Executive Vice President of Fukushima Daiichi Decontamination and Decommissioning Engineering Company (FDEC), TEPCO Holdings. He joined Tokyo Electric Power Company, Inc. in 1991 and has about 30 years of experience in TEPCO’s nuclear division. Since 2011, he has been engaged in the stabilization and decommissioning of Fukushima Daiichi, taking charge of water treatment, procurement and supervision of the overall work etc. His mission now is to reduce risk at Fukushima Daiichi steadily by proceeding with numerous projects in a safe and timely manner.
