Biography

Jay Thomas is currently the Director of Transportation and Services for Orano TN Americas. He has been with Orano for 10 years with responsibilities ranging from managing the transport of radioactive materials across the entire fuel cycle to managing waste projects. Before Orano, Jay worked at the Department of Energy’s Savannah River Site as an engineer supporting spent fuel management and as a program manager supporting both the US and Russian research reactor SNF return programs. All together, he has 34 years of experience with the transportation and management of nuclear materials.
