Biography

Sriram Suryanarayan has a Ph.D. in Chemistry from Bhabha Atomic Research Centre, University of Mumbai, India, and a postdoc from McMaster University, Canada. He currently works as Director, Innovation at Kinectrics Inc., Canada. He has extensive experience in a variety of subject areas relevant to the nuclear industry, including process development with relevance to different stages of the nuclear fuel cycle (such as the recovery of uranium from ores, fuel reprocessing, and treatment of high-level waste); waste management (including waste characterization, processing, and conditioning); decommissioning; membrane technologies and nuclear power plant chemistry.
