Biography

David Connolly is the Head of Higher Activity Waste Thermal Treatment (HAWTT) Programme at Sellafield, a subsidiary of the Nuclear Decommissioning Authority. As well as Sellafield’s Head of Beta/Gamma Remediation and Head of Site Post Operational Clean Out, David has held executive roles within a number of industries, including delivering major studies, projects and programmes in 14 countries as Vice President of Wood’s international divisions. He holds master’s degrees in engineering and business management, is a Fellow of the Institute of Leadership & Management, a Chartered Engineer, and a Registered Project Professional. He currently chairs the NEA's International Decommissioning Board.
