Biography

Claire Gallery-Strong has developed her career working across a pharma, environmental and nuclear sectors. She is currently Corporate Services Director at Nuclear Waste Services, the UK national nuclear waste business leading on treatment and disposal services. An alumini NUI Galway, Ireland, she relocated to the UK to develop her scientific career. She studied at Kings College London (MSc.) and Henley Business School (MBA). Her nuclear experience spans roles from nuclear operations, project, programme and portfolio management through to developing radioactive waste strategies. She has specialised in the fields of waste and decommissioning directing engineering and science programmes. She is a Hon Treasurer, a Trustee for the Royal Society
