Biography

Dr. Matthew Kozak is a Principal Engineer for INTERA, Inc. He is known both nationally and internationally for his work on safety assessments of waste disposal facilities and contaminated sites, and has over 100 publications on these topics. Dr. Kozak is a frequent consultant to the International Atomic Energy Agency, and has supported EPA, EPRI, DOE, and NRC on a wide variety of radioactive waste disposal and radioactive contamination issues. He has performed safety assessments for numerous radioactive waste repository programs internationally, including Canada, Korea, South Africa, and Slovenia.
