Cicero School District 99
Martin Mireles is the District Instructional Literacy Coach for Cicero District 99, where he leads English and Spanish curriculum design, facilitates professional development in literacy and language, and provides instructional coaching across monolingual and dual-language settings. His work centers on supporting K–8 educators and administrators in implementing research-aligned instructional practices that advance equity and high levels of academic achievement for all students.
Martin holds dual certification as a Reading Specialist and in Special Education (LBS I) and is a trained LETRS facilitator. He brings a strong grounding in evidence-based literacy instruction, bilingual education, and language development to his coaching and leadership work. Beyond his district role, Martin supports educators and education professionals at the local, state, and national levels, contributing to the development of coherent, effective language and literacy classrooms and systems.
