Biography

Jim directs the work of approximately 35 Federal, and 3500 contractor, employees managing an annual budget of approximately $1 billion. Jim is responsible for safely storing and stabilizing high level radioactive waste generated during the site’s seventy years of nuclear material processing. Jim has over 40 years of experience with DOE at the Savannah River Site. Prior to his selection as the AMWD, he served as the Deputy AMWD from 2008 to 2015.
