Ingo Blechschmidt, Head of Nagra's Department of Applied Geosciences and International Collaboration / Member of the Executive Board, oversees surface and subsurface geological investigations, RD&D projects at URLs like Grimsel Test Site and Mont Terri, and international collaboration in radioactive waste management. He holds a master’s and doctorate in applied geosciences and an Executive MBA. With 25+ years of expertise in geosciences, including exploration, data acquisition, and interpretation, he also has 20+ years managing underground research facilities. Ingo specialises in technology transfer, global commercialisation, and international project management, supported by an extensive network of global contacts.
