Dr. Josh Jarrell currently leads INL's Fuel Cycle Science and Technology division, which focuses on delivering nuclear fuel cycle solutions that enable the deployment of advanced nuclear energy concepts through innovative aqueous and pyrochemical separations technology development, isotope recovery and availability, used fuel management, proliferation risk reduction, and development of testbed environments. Previously, Dr. Jarrell supported the DOE’s HALEU program, led INL’s Pyrochemistry and Molten Salt System Department, as well as created and led INL’s Used Fuel Management Department. Prior to INL, Dr. Jarrell worked seven years at ORNL as a R&D staff member. Dr. Jarrell holds a B.S. and PhD in Nuclear Engineering from Texas A&M University.
