Biography

Young Hwan Hwang received his Ph.D degree in materials science and engineering (MSE) from Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST) in 2012. He worked as a research staff in Samsung Advanced Institute of Technology (SAIT). He joined the Central Research Institute of Korea Hydro and Nuclear Power (KHNP) in 2014. He has been working on vitrification and radioactive waste technology in CRI of KHNP as a PI and researcher. Dr. Hwang published many papers about materials science and nuclear engineering and was awarded some prizes including award of ministry of education, science and technology of Korea.
