Biography

Kevin Bazzell is the Environmental Management (EM) Excess Facility Demolition Federal Project Director (FPD) for the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory and the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory since 2012 and 2018 respectively and has more than 35 years of experience in the nuclear industry. As FPD, he is responsible for overseeing cleanup of process contaminated facilities at both Sites. Bazzell was Deputy Director of the Oakland Projects Office and the FPD for the SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory Environmental Restoration Project prior to this position. Bazzell holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Nuclear Engineering from UCLA and a Master of Business Administration degree from Washington State University.
