City of Oak Ridge
Amy Fitzgerald serves as the Government Affairs and Information Services Director for the City of Oak Ridge, Tennessee. She manages special projects involving the U.S. Department of Energy, and analyzes state and federal policies that may have an impact on Oak Ridge. A native of Bristol, Tennessee, Dr. Fitzgerald holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Vanderbilt University, a Masters degree in Public Administration, a Ph.D. in Political Science, both from the University of Tennessee-Knoxville. She is the past recipient of a National Science Foundation post-doctoral fellowship, and has served on the faculty of the Pennsylvania State University teaching courses in public management, research methods, and environmental policy.
