Biography

Christine Gelles has more than 30 years’ experience working in support of nuclear programs throughout the DOE complex -- including 23 years as a Federal employee/senior leader and 9 years in private industry. She is the Chief Operating Officer for Longenecker and Associates, Inc, a small business providing technical support across the DOE complex. Her core skills include: strategic program and project planning, acquisition management, assurance systems and problem solving. She has a deep understanding of environmental policy and extensive knowledge and understanding of DOE programs -- especially radioactive waste and nuclear materials management -- as well industry's capacity and experience to meet DOE mission goals.
