Biography

Mr. Pratt is the Manager of the Naval Reactors Idaho Branch Office and reports to the Deputy Administrator for Naval Reactors within the National Nuclear Security Administration. The Idaho Branch Office provides independent surveillance of work at the Naval Reactors Facility to ensure that nuclear safety measures, including design, procedure control, radiological control, and quality control, are maintained for all aspects of naval nuclear work. Oversight responsibilities cover processing and packaging Naval spent nuclear fuel for dry storage, reactor materials examinations, facility construction and maintenance, decontamination and decommissioning of legacy facilities, environmental compliance, shipping reactor materials specimens and low-level radioactive waste, and emergency response.
