Biography

Josh Silverman leads DOE’s Office of Environmental Protection and ES&H Reporting. His portfolio includes environmental compliance, sustainable operations, natural and cultural resource protection, public and environmental radiation protection, accident prevention and investigation, and reporting and analysis of ES&H metrics. He serves as the Department's Federal Preservation Officer and agency lead for numerous natural resource protection, historic and cultural preservation, and environmental compliance topics, including per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS).
