Biography

Leonel E. Lagos, Ph.D., PMP® Dr. Lagos holds a Ph.D. degree in Environmental Engineering and a master's degree in mechanical engineering. Currently Dr. Lagos holds the position Assocaite Professor at FIU's Moss Department of Construction Management and Director of Research at Florida International University’s Applied Research Center (FIU-ARC). Dr. Lagos is the Principal Investigator (PI) on the DOE-FIU Cooperative Agreement and provides technical direction in the applied research projects conducted under this agreement. He is also Program Director for DOE-FIU Science & Technology Workforce Development Initiative (DOE Fellows Program), a unique STEM student training program established by the DOE-EM and Florida International University.
