Biography

Stephen Pitton graduated from Colorado State University with a civil engineering degree and is a registered engineer in the state of Colorado. His engineering career began in land development and transition to structural engineering. In 2008, Stephen joined the Department of Energy Legacy Management program as a contractor gaining experience from many of the sites in engineering, project management and as a Site Lead. In 2023 he continued his work for Legacy Management by moving from a contractor to a federal Site Manager role. Stephen is a Site Manager with the LM-21 Site Operations Team working on both UMTRCA Sites and Plowshare, Vela Uniform, Weapons Related (PVW) Sites.
