US DOE, Idaho Cleanup Project
Mark Brown is the Deputy Manager of the Idaho Cleanup Project. He is responsible for managing the Office of Environmental Management cleanup work at the Idaho National Laboratory Site, which includes disposal of buried transuranic waste, safe storage of spent nuclear fuel, retrieval and treatment of sodium bearing liquid waste, and safe storage of high-level, calcined waste. Mr. Brown has been with DOE since 1995 and has over 40 years of experience with nuclear operations and providing oversight of environmental restoration activities. Prior to working for DOE, Mark Brown was a nuclear submarine officer with the U.S. Navy.
