Biography

Jana Dawson is Remedial Project Manager with the Superfund Division of EPA Region 4. Duties include providing oversight of the cleanup at Department of Energy sites including the Oak Ridge Reservation and Savannah River Site. She is also a regional representative of the Radiological Emergency Response Team. Ms. Dawson has a BA in Chemistry and a MS in Environmental Science/Mineral Resources Ecology. She began her career as a radiological chemist at Rocky Flats and then went on to work at several environmental consulting firms before joining EPA in 2020. Ms. Dawson has over 32 years of experience in radiological chemistry, environmental consulting, and health physics.
