Biography

Dr. Jeffrey Cooper is the Director of Engineering, American Centrifuge Operating, LLC (ACO), a Centrus Energy Corporation subsidiary. Dr. Cooper is responsible for overseeing engineering activities and resource planning across multiple Centrus sites. These activities are currently focused on deployment of a 16-machine High Assay Low Enriched Uranium (HALEU) enrichment plant in Piketon Ohio. He also provides the engineering input required to develop the business case for deployment of new nuclear chemical processing facilities. These facilities are focused on the front end of the HALEU fuel cycle and are required for successful deployment of many advanced reactor designs.
