Biography

Dr. Jolin is a materials engineer in Applied Materials Research group at SRNL. He performs fate and transport modeling for performance assessments and works in the research and development of nuclear waste forms and materials for the contaminant retention. Prior to SRNL, Dr. Jolin served as the contaminant fate and transport subject matter expert at Savannah River Nuclear Solutions (SRNS). His work focused on the application of environmental modeling for regulatory decisions and the characterization of nuclear facilities prior to decommissioning. Dr Jolin was the 2024 recipient for the Waste Management Young Professional Award.
