Biography

Mr. Austin represents EnergySolutions for its international business. His current focus is on the sustainability of back end nuclear services during Nuclear Power Plant D&D, and nuclear waste management. He has over 40 years of experience in the nuclear industry working in Europe, America and Asia, covering all areas of the nuclear fuel cycle including; uranium enrichment, nuclear fuel, nuclear power plant operation, D&D and high, intermediate and low level waste management and processing. Over the past 10 years, Mr. Austin has spent considerable time in Japan working with major Japanese companies supporting Fukushima recovery and Commercial Nuclear Power Plant D&D.
