Biography

Dr Lisa Maxwell is Head of Strategy & Business Development at Nuclear Waste Services. Since graduating in chemical engineering, Lisa has spent over 25 years at Sellafield, the UK’s most complex decommissioning and waste legacy. Her roles have spanned plant operations, technical programmes, R&D, waste management and strategy. Since moving to NWS Lisa has worked across business development, integrated waste management and strategy. Lisa is passionate about building a sustainable and diverse skills pipeline for nuclear. She is a STEM ambassador, a mentor and is active in leading change in D&I agendas through her involvement in sector networks including WiN.
