Biography

Pamela joined ANSTO after 24 years in the mining industry. As Group Executive for Nuclear Operations and Nuclear Medicine, she is responsible for the OPAL research reactor, nuclear medicine production facilities, radioactive waste operations and legacy waste. Pamela inspires teams to strive for safe, sustainable operations and continuous improvement. This has delivered increased performance, safety and reliability of nuclear operations and a focus on knowledge transfer. Pamela is passionate about people development and diversity in STEM. She is an independent Director of the Housing Trust, Science Advisory Board member of Australian Museum and executive committee member of Women In Nuclear-Australia.
