Biography

Rebecca Robbins is the Predisposal Unit Head in the Waste Technology Section at the International Atomic Energy Agency. In this role she is responsible for working with Member States to develop and disseminate IAEA guidance in all aspects of radioactive waste management. She has over 25 years’ experience and prior to joining the Agency she worked in a variety of roles at several nuclear facilities including the Springfields and Sellafield sites in the UK and the Idaho National Laboratory and Hanford sites in the US. Rebecca has a PhD in Inorganic Chemistry from the University of Leeds, UK.
