Biography

Carl J. Martinez has served the National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) Nuclear Security Enterprise for over 24 years in many capacities: nuclear weapon production and dismantlement, program management, and nuclear explosive and criticality Safety. Mr. Martinez has spent the last four years supporting the establishment of NNSA’s Enterprise Waste Management Division that implements NNSA’s corporate vision, mission, and strategic objectives to promote improvements in the planning and execution of radioactive waste operations. His previous experience includes serving as Los Alamos National Laboratory R&D Engineer overseeing various weapon assembly and disassembly activities at the Pantex Plant and Y-12 National Security Complex from 2002-2009; served as the Nevada.
