Biography

Greg Sosson has 38 years of nuclear-safety experience that includes nuclear operations, engineering, project management, probabilistic risk assessment, safety culture, and emergency preparedness. Before joining DOE in 2015, Greg held senior leadership positions at both PWR and BWR commercial nuclear plants. He has served as Corporate and Site Engineering Director, Operations Manager as well as EPRI committee leadership and INPO peer-assessor assignments. He is a PE and held an NRC SRO license. He was previously the DAS for Secretary for Safety, Security and Quality Assurance. He's served as acting Manager of CBFO and ADAS for Field Operations Oversight and Chief of Nuclear Safety for DOE
