Biography

Arturo Guajardo is the Director of K–12 Partnerships at Pocketalk, where he leads initiatives that expand language access for multilingual students and families across the country. With a career rooted in bilingual education and educational technology, Arturo brings three decades of experience at the intersection of language learning, instructional innovation, and educator support. Before joining Pocketalk, Arturo spent more than ten years at BrainPOP, where he helped schools harness engaging digital content to support diverse learners. His educational journey began in bilingual classrooms, where he taught for a decade, developing a deep understanding of the needs of multilingual learners. This classroom experience laid the foundation for his next chapter—as an instructional technology coach, trainer, and consultant—where he specialized in digital media strategies to elevate instruction for multilingual students. Arturo is also a seasoned professional learning facilitator, having led countless staff development sessions that empower educators to integrate technology meaningfully into their practice. He has shared his insights and expertise at national conferences, including ISTE, NCTE, NABE, and ASCD, with a focus on digital equity, language access, and student engagement. Passionate about building bridges between schools and the communities they serve, Arturo is committed to supporting educators with the tools, strategies, and partnerships they need to ensure every student—regardless of language— can thrive.
