Mr Patrick Murtagh is a Consultant Ocular Oncologist at the Royal Victoria Eye and Ear Hospital in Dublin, following fellowships at both RVEEH and the Liverpool Ocular Oncology Centre. His clinical expertise includes the diagnosis and surgical management of intraocular and ocular surface tumors, with proficiency in plaque brachytherapy, transretinal biopsies, and related procedures. He is actively engaged in research, including a UCD-funded study on circulating tumor DNA in uveal melanoma.
